Money Helper store your financial data in books. Every book is just a digital file like a Word .doc file. The files can be stored in any folders you choose.

1. New book

  1. Tap 'new book' in home page to open 'New Book' page.
  2. Enter book information in 'New Book' page.
  3. Tap 'create' to create book. Then there is a book file created in the folder you've selected.

2. Open book

If you have file manager apps like 'Files', you can click the Money Helper file (*.mhf file) in these apps to open a book.

*Although you can open a Money Helper file in OneDrive directly, but Money Helper can't save the book file to OneDrive directly. So you have to download the Money Helper file from OneDrive to local, and then modify the local file. Or you can open the OneDrive file directly, then use 'Save as book' to save it as local file, and then modify the local file.

Or you can open a book:

  1. Tap 'open book' in home page to open 'Open Book' page.
  2. Tap a book that you want to open in 'Open Book' page.
  3. Or tap 'open file' in 'Open Book' page to open a book file that you haven't opened.

3. Book info

  1. Tap 'book info' in home page to open 'Book Info' page.
  2. In 'Book Info' page, you can change book name, or set book default currency, or set book password.

4. Password protection

In 'Book Info' page, you can tap 'change password' to set book password. If you enter non-empty password, the password protection works and then you need the password to open this book. If you leave password empty , the password protection will be gone.

5. Save as book

You can save the current book as new book file using other book name in other folder.

  1. Tap 'save as book' in home page to open 'Save as Book' page.
  2. In 'Save as Book' page, enter new book name / new folder / new file name.
  3. Tap 'create' to create the new book.

6. Close book

You can close current book.

  1. Tap 'close book' in home page to close current book.
